2016 Competition

8.  Climb and Glide

Climb and Glide ratio.  The pilot can select the duration of their motor run and must inform the time keeper of this before the attempt starts. The motor run time will start when the model leaves the ground or the hand launch and must stop when the time keeper calls cut at the chosen motor duration time. The clock will then continue to run until the model makes contact with the ground ( trees etc included ). The result will be the total flight time divided by the motor run time.   eg.  120 second total flight time with a 20 second included motor run would score 6, ( 120 / 20 = 6 )
